Meet Sandra

Registered Manager

Sandra brings almost 30 years of experience supporting children and families through both her professional career and personal experience as a mother. Her work has been dedicated to helping children, young people, and families navigate emotional challenges, relationships, trauma, attachment difficulties, and life experiences with compassion, understanding, and specialist therapeutic support.

As a highly experienced Child Therapist, Play & Filial Therapist, Sandra works with children aged 2–16 years across a wide range of settings including family homes, schools, Children’s Centres, CAMHS, and Local Authority Care services. Her therapeutic approach is child-centred, trauma-informed, and rooted in the importance of safe, trusting relationships that support emotional wellbeing and development.

Sandra is a registered Play Therapist and Supervisor with The British Association of Play Therapists (BAPT) and has undertaken extensive specialist training in attachment, trauma, family relationships, assessment, and therapeutic intervention. Her wide-ranging experience enables her to support children and families with diverse and complex needs, while also guiding professionals and carers to better understand and respond to children’s emotional experiences.

Throughout her career, Sandra has had the privilege of working closely alongside families during some of their most challenging times. She values the trust families place in her and believes every family journey offers opportunities for growth, understanding, and healing.

Alongside her therapeutic work, Sandra is passionate about supporting her therapy team, schools and professionals through training and consultation. Her work reflects her commitment to developing knowledge, confidence, and trauma-informed practice within educational and care settings.
