✨ INTRODUCING OUR SECOND PATRON… ROXY WILSON! ✨
We are incredibly excited to reveal that Roxy Wilson, star of BBC’s The Traitors, is joining us as our second Patron. 💛
Many people will know Roxy from The Traitors, where she appeared alongside her mum, Judy. But behind their brilliant mother-and-daughter relationship is a story that makes Roxy’s support of our work especially meaningful.
Roxy spent the early years of her childhood in foster care, moving between a number of different homes before finding the stability and security of a permanent family with Judy, who went on to adopt her.
Since appearing on The Traitors, Roxy and Judy have used their platform to speak openly about their experiences and champion the importance of fostering and adoption – encouraging more people to consider opening their homes and hearts to children who need them.
Roxy has spoken movingly about what having a permanent family meant to her: the security of knowing someone would always be there, the unconditional love of a family and even those seemingly ordinary moments, like hearing “love you” before going to bed each night.
Today, Roxy is a mum herself and continues to use her voice and lived experience to help raise awareness of the difference a safe, stable and loving family can make in a child’s life.
That passion and understanding of the experiences of children and families makes us incredibly proud to welcome Roxy as our second Patron.
