The Iron Nest Band took to the stage at Barnsley Civic yesterday to perform their debut single thanks to the Great Child Ambition funding that allowed young people with additional needs form a summer rock band with the help of therapists at eQuiPT Therapy services.
Their family and friends showed up, along with Barnsley Councilors. Parents said that they were absolutely stunned at the progress made in such a short period of time. They had developed confidence and self-worth that allowed them to take to the stage. We were all super proud of the young people.
