Biography
Hi, I’m Ella, a creative and passionate dramatherapist working with children and young people. Drama, play, and creativity are all tools that can help anyone to express themselves, build confidence, and process difficult life experiences. In my practice, I am person-centred and adaptable to working with the individual interests and strengths of my clients. In the past, this has included mediums such as music, dance, visual art, and sensory exploration.
As a dramatherapist, I have completed placements in a primary school and an adult mental health setting, using dramatherapy in both group and individual sessions. I prioritise relationship building in my practice, working to ease anxiety and grow confidence by building a strong rapport with the people I work with. Prior to training as a dramatherapist, I worked in multiple settings with children and adults with disabilities and neurodivergence.
This is my first role as a dramatherapist since qualifying, and I’m really looking forward to meeting new people and getting stuck into creative exploration alongside the service users at eQuiPT. In my spare time, I enjoy walking my dog, cooking, and singing loudly (but not always well) in my car.
