Biography
I’m Sara, a HCPC-registered Art Therapist and a member of the British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT), with experience supporting children, young people, and families across a variety of settings.
My approach to each session is warm, creative, and child-led. I believe that every child has their own unique way of communicating and making sense of their experiences, and I use art as a gentle and accessible way to help them express thoughts and feelings that may be difficult to put into words.
I work from an integrative and trauma-informed perspective, with a particular understanding of the importance of attachment, relationships, identity, and belonging. When working with children, I aim to create a safe, supportive space where children feel seen, understood, and respected.
I am passionate about helping children build confidence, emotional resilience, and stronger connections with themselves and the people around them.
