Our Mission Statement
We provide a service that uses high quality therapists, appropriately trained and with a wide experience of working with vulnerable groups of children and families. We provide our service at the time of need and in a setting that is welcoming to families. We pride ourselves in providing therapies that are fully accessible to all age-ranges not reliant on the ability to talk about the difficulties. There are significant gaps in mental health services available within the communities and we want to be able to fill these gaps with an accessible community based service.
The main bulk of our work is with families with children who are adopted, on a special guardianship order and looked after, with a need for a therapeutic support package into permanency. We offer advice to social workers of the best plan for a child and are happy to do this before any formal referral is made. We also invite families to come and meet us before deciding that we are the right provider for them.
We also provide some therapy to schools, privately funded cases and through our CIC fundraising.
